You bring us your empty cartridge and we’ll refill it with premium quality ink that was formulated specifically for your printer (WE NEVER USE UNIVERSAL IN YOUR CARTRIDGE). Refilling a cartridge takes 4-10 minutes. You can wait while we refill your cartridge or drop it off and pick it up later. There may be times when there are other customers ahead of you and this can add to waiting times. For most popular cartridge types we have pre-filled cartridges that we can simply exchange for yours at the same price as a refill. This allows us to avoid holding you up if you’re in a hurry.

Most cartridges can be refilled, particularly the more expensive Hewlett Packard, and Lexmark print head cartridges. Many cartridges can be filled several times. The number of times a cartridge can be refilled depends on how well you take care of it. You should never try to print with an empty cartridge. This can damage electronic components of the cartridge. When your cartridge is empty put it in a plastic sandwich bag to keep the print head from drying out until you can bring it to INK STOP USA for refilling. You should also keep the plastic “clip” on the cartridge when it’s not in use. This keeps the print head from drying out or being damaged. Always handle cartridges carefully, taking care to avoid touching the print head or contacts. Never store the cartridges in direct sunlight or leave them in a hot car as this can sometimes cause the ink to run into the print head causing cross contamination of the cartridge.
